CLOSED THROUGH APRIL 30TH - PLEASE SHOP OUR ONLINE STORE
•UPDATE• CLOSED THROUGH APRIL 30TH
Due to the Governor’s announcement today to extend the closure of non-essential businesses to April 30th, we will now be closed for a few more weeks. I’ve received so many sweet messages from people just sending happy thoughts and positivity and I REALLY appreciate it! I will continue to post cute items on our website and socials, so stay tuned! Thank you for your support!
CLOSED THROUGH APRIL 7TH
As many of you may have already heard, Governor Kim Reynolds extended closures of businesses through April 7th and added to the list of businesses that must close. Unfortunately, clothing and shoe stores are on that list, so we will now be closed through April 7th. [Hopefully] Reopening on April 8th!
Consignors with pickups: All pickups that were scheduled for March 24-28 and April 5-9 will now be rescheduled for April 12-23 to give each of you enough time to pick up your leftover items if you wish to do so!
Thank you so much for your support up until this point! We will continue to post awesome items on our website and socials!
Closed Through March 31st
Hello all! Due to Iowa being in a state of public health disaster, we will be closed through March 31st. We feel that this is the best way to keep our customers and staff healthy. Our thoughts are with other small business owners during this difficult time of uncertainty. Please remember to shop online, order from your favorite restaurant, and purchase gift cards from local businesses! We hope you and your family are safe and healthy throughout all of this. Thank you for your continued support as we take precautions for COVID-19.
Closing April 19th-26th, April 30th & May 1st 2019
Hello everyone! As many of you already know, I will be getting married soon and we have decided to close the store during our wedding and honeymoon. However, we will be open Saturday, April 27th to accommodate any prom needs! When I return, we will be accepting Spring and Summer consignment! We do have appointments left in May, so snag one up if you have things you'd like to bring in! Thank you so much for your support!
Thank you for your support the last month that we've been re-open! As of January 5th, all undamaged items leftover from the tornado have been donated to local charities. We hope these items will help those in the community who lost belongings as a result of the July tornado. Also, thank you to the Marshalltown Chamber of Commerce members for stopping in this week to see how we've recovered from the tornado damage, we really appreciate it!
Thank you for consigning with us in the first few months we were open! It's been a while, but we are glad to be back up and running again! If you are interested in picking up the remainder of your undamaged items from the storm, call us or stop in to make an appointment to do so! Your items will be returned to you cleaned and folded. We do not guarantee that items will be in the same condition as when they were brought in, but we will do our best!
Appointments will be made until January 5th, after that all remaining items will be donated.
Hello again! I am hoping that this will be the last update I will need to write before we are back open for business! Everyone who has worked on our building has done a great job and we are so thankful for each one of them! As to be expected, there have been a few setbacks along the way so we will be opening a bit later than we had initially planned. We're getting close to being able to reopen and are excited to see all of you again! Thank you so much for your constant encouragement! Stay tuned for a Grand (RE) Opening date!
I would like to start off by thanking everyone for their continued support and kind words, it really means a lot at times like this! As for the store, we are working each day to get it back up and running again! Currently we have new windows, shingles, and are working on getting the roof done. Inside we are cleaning clothing and getting ready for all new everything!(a.k.a. carpet, ceiling tiles, drywall, paint) Once the inside is all finished, we will start scheduling appointments for those who would like to pick up their items. We will be having a Grand Re-Opening celebration but have not set a date yet. Thank you!
We opened in April of this year on the corner of State St. and 1st in Marshalltown, IA. Our first few months of being open were wonderful! We made new friends, learned things about the community, and grew our business.
Unfortunately, on July 19th we were hit by the EF3 tornado that damaged so much of our town. We lost all of our windows along with parts of our roof, bricks, ceiling, and flooring. We are EXTREMELY fortunate that all of our workers are safe, and that we did not lose almost any inventory. With that being said, all of our inventory must be washed and inspected before we are able to move forward. With all of the glass, insulation, and debris flying around, it's impossible to know if any item was completely untouched. We are very grateful that our damage is not nearly as bad as many others, and are working our hardest to rebuild in a timely fashion!
We are hoping for a 2 month rebuild time, but we are taking things day by day!
During this time, we thank you for your patience, understanding, and happy thoughts!
Consign with us? What you need to know
Please do not worry about your items! We are working hard to get everything washed and organized as quickly as possible. Once we re-open, we will have a plan as to what to do if you would like to pick up your items. This process will most likely be done by appointment. To stay up to date, updates will be posted here as well as on our social media accounts.
Please feel free to email us at email@example.com if you have any questions that we haven't answered!
